We are a family-owned and operated business based at Black Hill Station on the upper Rakaia River in Mid Canterbury, New Zealand. With over twenty years of hands-on experience fencing our own property, we understand first-hand the challenges farmers face when it comes to reliable, cost-effective fencing.
Over the years we noticed that a lot of the essential gear was either not available in New Zealand or was inconsistent in quality, all while the cost kept climbing. So we set up our own company, dedicated to sourcing and producing materials that actually suit New Zealand farming conditions.
Today we stock a wide range built for durability and practicality: Y-posts and T-irons with hole patterns suited to netting and plain wires, barred sheep yard gates in multiple sizes, heavy-duty farm gates, panels, wire and the hardware to hang it all. A lot of it used to be special-order only. We carry it in stock now, for farmers across the country.
Because the business began by sourcing materials for our own place, quality has always been at the heart of what we do. Every product is chosen with the same standards we demand for our own fencing, so New Zealand farmers get strong, dependable gear that lasts.
